All prayer is a response to the nudge of our creator God who has created us to be:

• In relationship with Him - walking and talking/listening with God; ‘me being me in the presence of God being God’; keeping company with Him.
• Welcoming and receiving the gifts He longs to give us because of Jesus we can gain access to our Father in Heaven’s provision of His love, grace, mercy and the Holy Spirit – anytime, anywhere!
• Working in partnership to bring in His kingdom using the tools of prayer as lead by the Holy Spirit.

The invitation is always one of Come. No matter how we feel, what we have done or not done, our loving incredibly merciful Father is always inviting us to come.

“If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink” John 7.37

Prayer is a multi-faceted jewel and includes worship and praise, thanksgiving, lament, confession, repentance, petition, intercession (praying for other people/places/nations/situations), blessing, and declaration of God’s Word.

Each one of us needs to find the best ways in our lifestyle, personality type and situation to find time to spend with our loving heavenly Father, reading His word, listening to His voice and talking to Him.
